An alternative way of typing parenthetical contradictions in text messages. Instead of actually typing the contradictory statement, the parentheses are left empty.

Person 1: *explains something confusing*
Person 2: "Ah, I get it now. ()"

Person 1: *shares their opinion*
Person 2: "Yeah, I agree. ()"
