Maui-fy

Maui-fy, or mauify, is a new slang term in reference to the tragic, catastrophic Lahaina fire that destroyed the town of Lahaina on Maui in 2023. Everything in Lahaina burned to the ground and many people lost their lives that day. Many conspiracy theories still currently circulate among locals and on social media about the true cause of these fires; though the official cause was determined to be faulty power lines, abnormally dry and windy weather, and flammable building materials. Popular conspiracy theories include that the fires started by space lasers or other intentional man made weapons. To Maui-fy simply means to burn something down into rumble until it’s no longer in existence; like the town of Lahaina.

I’m worried the government is going to Maui-fy my home because I am a whistleblower and post on social media too much.
