When software assumes you want, or typically forces you into, maximum bells and whistles upon first install/upgrade and potentially even restricts you from shutting down said options/bloatware that it has acquired over years of unnecessary releases that add junk instead of real value.

The act of trying to force a software user to conform to the developer's ways of imagining the software should be used.
Have you seen the latest popular chat program I was just forced to upgrade? Now it's wanting me to also sign in to my Twitter & Face Book accounts every time I start it. And it's trying to run full screen? This thing is so techcist now!
