Bose Shoulder 

The behavior similar to that of the cold shoulder given to Contractors by Bose full-time employees and supervisors. A feeling of distinct alienation once you have found out your contract has not been renewed, yet you are still employed.

Wow, that cashier was so frigid, she was giving me the bose shoulder.
