To "Jet Up" is when one gets extremely enthusiastic about an amazing opportunity despite the fact that it is inevitable that one will fail miserably in public disgrace.
You could see Mark Sanchez "Jet Up" when the opportunity to run the ball presented itself. However he bounced his face of a lineman's butt instead of getting the first down.
