To ask someone how much they earn within five minutes of meeting them.

David is introduced to someone new in the pub. “David this is Luke, he’s a pilot”

Five minutes later.
“So Luke, what does a typical pilot bank these days?”
Luke responds "Bro, seriously? That’s a Fozzy. We just met"
