Someone who continuously reads scientific and mathematical articles on Wikipedia in an effort to learn the derivations or proofs behind equations and concepts from high school science and math courses. Other symptoms include obnoxiously disrupting the class to ask teachers to show proofs or derivations (e.g. the derivation of Newton's Second Law) but rarely getting a response. The student may even email Michio Kaku to resolve a physics debate between two students in the class.
Student: Please show me the proof for the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, Part II.

Teacher: No, you proofmeister!

-----

Student: How do you derive K=1/2mv^2?

Teacher performs proof.

Student: So now can you derive U = 1/2kx^2?

Teacher: No.
