When a non-leftist has an idea or suggests a policy but is denied, socially attacked, or accused of being an “-ist” or “-phobic,” but when someone politically “left-of-center” suggests it, it’s brilliant. Synonyms include “libpeating” or, less commonly, “leftsplaining.”

“Did you see Governor Cuomo saying we need to reopen the economy?”
“Yeah... He's just leftpeating what the Republicans were saying before Uncle Joe won the election.”
