The Leonard Affect

When one has a strong affection/liking to someone and will make minuscule attempts to pursue said person. When the subject is faced with minor discouragement/realization that effort or time is required to obtain said person, subject will give up and move on, repeating the process.

Dood is The Leonard Affect contagious? Because I don't feel like giving up on love yet.
