Rat poison 

Term used by Alabama football coach Nick Saban to describe media hype that distracts a team after a win and makes them believe they’re invincible and makes them underestimate their next opponent. If they drink the rat poison they will lose.
Tennessee beat Bowling Green by 30. They’re winning the SEC!”
