An amalgam of 'sneering' and 'theory'. Describes attempts by elites to advance the idea that political outcomes they do not like owe entirely to middle and lower class being ignorant of their own best interests.

Fred put forward the sneeory that Joe Blow won the election because voters were racist xenophobic rubes who didn't go past fourth grade.
