A member of an identity group who exploits the group’s mission, vision, and values under false pretenses that jeopardize its integrity and harm its cause.

Amber Heard, is a lamberd who posed as a victim in the Johnny Depp trial, such individuals may cloak themselves in the guise of the group’s shared identity—in her case, womanhood and advocacy for abuse survivors—while undermining the credibility of true victims. This betrayal not only damages the group’s reputation but also detracts from the genuine struggles of those it seeks to protect.
