Grumpy due to lack of sleep causing a noticeable slump, for example:

Me: "You want some toast?"
Her: "Fuck of and die!"
Me: "Ahh it's fine she's just slumpy!"

Jon: "I just got a mouthful of Dave! What a knob!"
Steve: "Give him a break he's a bit slumpy."
Jon: He's still a knob though!"
