n. Group: Brownsville, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York City based rap group that features Billy Danze, Lil Fame, Foxx, Teflon, Rocco, Laze E Laze, and DJ Premier; and was primarily supported by labels such as Select Records before moving to the major label Loud Records to create the album Warriorz. They also have done a collaboration album with fellow Brooklyn rock group Shiner Massive entitled Mash Out Posse, which is a collection of some of their greatest hits, re-preformed in the style of rip rock. Most recently they have signed to G-Unit Records under the Shady/Aftermath umbrella.

rip rock

n. Slang used to describe a style/genre of rap and rock mixed together, also known as rap metal. Popular examples include Linkin Park, Stuck Mojo, Everlast/House Of Pain, Limp Bizkit, Rage Against The Machine, Korn, Nonpoint, and Hed P.E.. Sometimes can be used in a derogatory fashion, but is generally just another term for rap metal.

Nonpoint

n. A band currently signed to Roadrunner/Roadrunner Records through Bieler Bros., that has previously preformed several times at Ozzfest and is most famous for their rip rock tribute to hip-hop entitled "tribute", in which they cover songs such as Woo-Hah! by Busta Rhymes. Elias Soriano is the primary vocalist, and they have released such albums as Statement, Recoil, and most recently, To The Pain.
