The phenomenon whereby the total amount of facebook likes a single post has becomes less socially impressive overtime. Conversly, the phenomenon whereby the amount of likes a facebook post today recieves is less socially impressive because the same post would recieve fewer likes if made in the past.
This profile picture recieved over 400 likes. Its not that impressive because 4 years ago it would have only recieved 55, adjusted for likeflation.
