Coastism

Workplace favoritism shown toward employees on one coast (typically the coast where leadership is based) over employees on the other coast, when a company has offices in both. The favored coast gets wined and dined, invited to spontaneous team outings, and showered with office events, while the other coast gets a Teams message and a sad desk lunch.

Corporate took the whole East Coast team out for a happy hour again, meanwhile we haven't had a team lunch in six months -- this is straight up coastism.
