Waiting For Marriage, Dating To Marry. A phrase used primarily by Christians to describe a commitment to sexual abstinence until marriage while pursuing romantic relationships with the intention of finding a spouse rather than dating casually.

My dating philosophy is WFMDTM—I believe in waiting for marriage and dating to marry.
