Bein

Where “friends” get together to bring in Shabbos with a kickback. Music starts the bein, and if the music stays on fights are likely to break out. If you get drunk at the bein, your meal after the bein at Bubby’s is uplifted. It’s also the place where the shidduchim happen if you’re lucky.

I heard the Bein at Mendel’s was wild, but I didn’t go because I want a good shidduch.
