If someone says something you don't understand or just don't want to answer, a common thing the hip generation does is say "WHAT ABOUT SALAD?"

Acting like they didn't hear what they said.

Irrelevant person:"Do you wanna see my earwax collection?"
You: "WHAT ABOUT SALAD?"
