EBDism

Any contunuity error in a fictional series. Named for author Elinor M Brent-Dyer (1894-1969), whose 64 book long Chalet School series published over nearly 50 years contains a large number of continuity errors. Can be applied to any series where continuity errors arise

I found an EBDism on page 40 of "Bride leads the Chalet School".

NCIS LA has lots of EBDisms.
