A training simulator designed to teach fire hose management to new firefighters, because sharp kinks reduce water flow to the nozzle. Inside the device a hose can be routed in a large bend as well as a sharp angle which will drastically reduce the amount of water flowing to the nozzle when it folds onto itself or kinks the hose
The chief wanted to suspend the training officer for showing the recruits a kink box... until he realized it is an actual firefighter training aid.
