Someone is keeping it slight if they are being nonchalant, chill, calm, and lowkey.

You say “keep it slight” if someone is doing too much, or if they are not doing too much, and you are trying to rage bait them.

“Did you do your part in the group project yet!?!?”
“Bro, keep it slight. I’ll do it eventually.”
