Soft Monday 

Any weekday that isn't a Monday, but is the first day back in work after some time off. So, like a Monday, but not as bad.

For example, any Tuesday after a bank holiday, or even a Wednesday if you've managed to pull an extended sickie.

"At least it's only a soft Monday, so I don't want to kill myself."
