When a player in a weekly pick’em pool finds themself one point behind for that week, with one game left to pick. The player decides to take the underdog in that final game, hoping for an upset to gain the extra point and win the weekly prize.

Tom: I’m one point ahead, playing it safe, taking the favorite.

Bob: My only chance is “Pulling a Hanigan” and hope for an upset.
