'Cock', is word used as a term of endearment for a companion. Used primarily in the Tasmanian culture as a way to single sylibolise a friend's pressence with honourary distinction. The 'Cock' is a mate which has earnt his 'stripes' in the aussie culture of mate-hood. Only those who are Australian and either friends of the 'Cock' (mate) may use the term or else permanent damage may occur to ones head or rib cage, temporarily causing immobility and agony. Note:be cautious in distributing this language amounst those who are not aware of the definition.
