Derogatory term coined by neoconservative wingnuts and used extensively in the corporate media to link a religion whose (1 billion) practitioners are, by and large, peaceful and tolerant, to a political ideology that espouses corporate rule, ethnic cleansing, autocratic rule, and high social stratification.
