I saw this term used on a chan board, but neither Google nor DuckDuckGo are able to find a reference to it that makes sense in the context given. It has something to do with how people in the early days of the Web got mad about others stealing their HTML or JavaScript code. Somebody help me out here!

people were more spergy about stealing code (basically everyone had an a0i "wall of shame" on their site)...
