inspiration, a thinspiration is something, usually an image or a person, that portrays an unhealthily skinny body. It serves as a trigger for those suffering from
anorexia or
bulimia, and is a large part of
pro-ana and
pro-bul culture.
Thinspiration and other pro-eating disorder media, (like most awful things), is largely present on social media sites like
Tumblr.
