welty

(adj.) One who is very eloquent in his speech, seldomly stumbles in his train of thought, and can, yes, CAN, prove the practical application of geometry to restless, sugar-high freshmen (and that, my friends, is quite a feat). He's really smart, too.

Welty as he was, the young boy wasn't able to avoid detention.
