The art of asking someone a trivial question over the phone before quickly and suddenly hanging up, leaving the receiver confused and flustered as to the indiscernible nature of the caller's reason or intent.

Conversations (though they can hardly be considered as such) usually proceed in the following pattern.

"Where are you"

"Home"

"Did you eat dinner?"

"No."

"Okay, bye"
