Someone who is slow on the uptake. This person often laughs a long time after a joke's punchline.

He laughed at that joke so late that he obviously has witlag.

In the Star Trek movie, Generations, where data finally got the joke from the episode, Encounter at Farpoint.

The feeling you have the morning after a night of heavy drinking. First heard at an internal company event in 2023, when a colleague blamed his word sallad moment with jetlag (which actually was the case), and some smart*ss asked if it is due to wetlag.
