unpoofify 

Verb; unpoofified, unpoofyness
To relax a persons hair, usually of african decent. Mentioning the relative ,poofyness of the hair. The process involves much chemicals, heat and repetitive pulling of the hair to "de-poof" it, make it lay flat and straight.

I did not understand what the nerd was explaining about in math class, so I asked him to unnoobify the equation.
