Like this myth of Midas, only in a bad way. Someone with the touch of shit makes everything they touch turn to shit. Often applies to celebrities and musicians, thought can also apply to politicians, teachers and occassionally significant others.

Someone who has bad luck with whatever they do. The opposite of the normal "Midas Touch " where everything turns to gold.
"Joe has the Midas Touch of Shit. He joined a really hot startup and it closed its doors in 6 months."
