A sarcastic phrase used to inform someone they are pursuing the wrong course of thought/action or barking up the wrong tree. Comes from Obi-Wan Kenobi's use of an old Jedi mind trick on Stormtroopers in Star Wars Episode IV in order to help them avoid Imperial entanglements. Homeboy: "Man, why can't I get in da club tonight, yo?!"
Bouncer: "Holmes, these aren't the droids you're looking for wit'cha pants on da ground. You gon' have to hang elsewhere tonight with that attire." |
