The Gamiest person alive. a person that is extremely good looking, and also has a great personality. People are lucky to know a man by this name. He is the life of every party he walks into. Everybody needs a Mike Venuti in their life.

The word refers to the time that legendary jazz violinist (and infamous prankster) Joe Venuti had a laugh by calling every bass player in the book (in 1928 Los Angeles) and pretending he had a gig for them on New Years Eve (usually a lucrative pay day). When 38 upright bassists showed up toting their large and unwieldy instruments the intersection of Hollywood and Vine was a total madhouse… to Venuti’s great amusement. The prank became legendary eventually leading to the adoption of the word venuti in early 21st century bass circles online, in Austin, Texas, and spreading to other communities as well.
