Tauntauns are a species of snow lizard found roaming the windswept snow plains of Hoth. The Rebel Alliance domesticated the swift creature during their stay on the ice planet, and used the animals for patrol duties outside Echo Base. The animals came in useful as the Rebel technicians had difficulty adapting their repulsorlift speeders to the subzero temperatures.

Both Luke Skywalker and Han Solo rode tauntauns on Rebel patrol missions, planting a network of life-form sensors along Echo Base's perimeter. Though tauntauns are sure-footed and well equipped to handle Hoth's daytime temperature, the chilling extremes of a Hoth night will prove deadly.

Taunton Tuxedo

The timeless look of wearing jorts with a wife beater. Looks fly with flip flops and white socks.
I’m getting laid tonight. I’m rocking my new haircut and a Taunton Tuxedo. Where the Brockton bitches at?
A depressing and pointless town in Somerset, UK.

All the shops are closing down in the town centre, leaving Taunton looking like a ghost town.
Taunton is a hellhole

taunton river

A river of pure shit.
My shit last night was so disgusting that I thought it was the taunton river.

Tauntaun Locater Unit

A device intended for use in emergency situations on Oregon's Mount Hood. In a whiteout, climbers will activate the Tauntaun Locater Unit to summon tauntauns from their top-secret stable at the top of the Palmer Chair Lift. They will then mount the noble steeds and ride them to safety at Gaper Headquarters (the Timberline Lodge Parking Lot). In especially dire conditions, a climber may cut a tauntaun open and burrow inside for warmth. This is a dangerous practice, however, as it may attract wampa ice creatures.
Gaper #1: "I tried to climb Mt Hood but got lost 100 feet above Timberline. I have a GPS, so I would have thought success was guaranteed."

Gaper #2: "It was very foolish of you to attempt der Mordwand without a Tauntaun Locater Unit. You should go to REI right now and get one!"

The Taunton Bermuda Triangle

An urban legend focused on three pubs in the country town of Taunton, the Plough, the Alehouse and the Crown and Sceptre, where a number of boozers and chancers are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The idea of the area as uniquely prone to disappearances arose in the early 21st century, but most reputable sources dismiss the idea that there is any mystery. In recent years many Tauntonians have challenged themselves to try and safely navigate a pint in each pub.
'Oi - fancy trying to complete the Taunton Bermuda Triangle tonight? 'Fuck it, why not'
