All encompassing Deep South (Dothan, Alabama) word for alcohol. Often used in chanting form.

Used throughout Southwest Ohio (Dayton) as a form of greeting.

1. "Y'all goin to the bar? Yeah? Y'wanna grab me some soppage? SOPPAGE SOPPAGE SOPPAGE"

2. Generic replacement for the word hello. "Soppage, good sir."
