sub-conti 

Persons originating from the Indian Subcontinent or certain countries of South Asia (i.e. India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, Maldives or Bhutan)

"Sub-conti" is closely related to, but not synonymous with, "desi".

Desi tends to be a narrower descriptor of persons of Indian or Pakistani heritage.
All of my FOB sub-conti friends seem to like to substitute "just" with "only" in sentences. They'll say stuff like, "I was going down the road, only".

Indian Subcontinent 

The Indian subcontinent or the subcontinent is a southern region of Asia mostly situated on the Indian Plate it usually includes the core lands of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka at times Maldives is often included as well.
Indian Subcontinent were Hinduism,Buddhism and Sikhism originate.
