An awful time in Jewish and general history, the Spanish Inquisition was commenced by Queen Isabel and King Ferdinand of Spain. Jews were systematically and specifically persecuted, forced either to convert to Roman Catholicism or be killed by the monarchy.
The Spanish Inquisition may have affected Christopher Columbus to be quiet about his own Jewish heritage.

As heard on the "dear rayne" talk show. Invented in Cincinnati, Ohio. Refers to during sexual intercourse, right before the man is about to climax, he removes his penis from her vagina, and sticks his penis in whatever hole he can find. I.E. her nose, ear, eye, etc. and right before he ejaculates he exclaims "Nobody Expects The Spanish Inquisition!" Leaving his partner confused and pissed, ending with the male being slapped.

A term in Texas Hold Em' poker that refers to holding pocket 3's. The basis is that they aren't the lowest pockets, but are close enough that high betting with a 3 in the common cards will lead no one to believe you have trips. No one expects the Spanish Inquisition.
