Slow come 

"It's gonna be a slow come" relates to betting on the come, then rolling the dice for your point.
If things start looking bleak, either on that roll of the dice, or when waiting for an important business deal, you know it's gonna be a slow come.

Before we get that truck unloaded it's gonna be a slow come.
