Shy oftenly gets mixed up with being introverted, but they two different things. Being shy is more like social anxiety or the fear of social interactions. Some people that are shy usually are seen as weird because everyone is expected to be an extrovert. In school situations the shy person would never have the courage to go and ask their crush out they would rather just stare from a distance due to their social anxiety. What people don’t know is that shy people have a lot of personality but just take a while getting comfortable around new people.

The worst way to live. A shy person has no confidence, and feels like it's impossible to say anything to anyone that they don't know. A shy person is never approached, perhaps because people think they are uninterested or feel that they are better than everyone else. conversations are awkward, friendships are not often maintained. The world seems too big for a shy person. They feel as if they don't belong anywhere. Trust me, I would know.
person 1: "That girl that sits behind you in English class is like mute."
person 2: "Aww don't say that...she's really nice. You should talk to her."

By far, the worst possible trait for any male interested in any kind of intimate relationship with females. It is worse than incompetence, obnoxiousness, ugliness, and no sense of humor - combined.

In rare cases there is a person born, this person is a Shy. Shy's really cool people and are willing to do anything for their loved ones. All Shy's are very goofy, weird, wacky and at most out of this world. But if you mess with a Shy just be warned that they are very stubborn and don't take crap from anyone.
