A senior momentum occurs when an elderly person mistakes the car'sgas pedal for the brake either in forward or reverse where they just keep pressing on the accelerator harder, only to go faster, causing an accident. The kinetic energy of the vehicle only increases with their continued, mistaken action.

An elderly person who is stubbornly adamant or perhaps hard of hearing that just continues whatever they are doing as if nobody advised them to do otherwise. They continue without flinching a muscle as if they are alone sometimes.
A police officer to another: The old geezer had a senior momentum slammed him backwards right through the bank wall. Its a good thing nobody was walking by.

I told her to put the watering can down, but she kept on pouring and pouring only to drown the heck out of the plant causing it to rot.
