senilehood

Senilehood encompasses psychological downfall of the elder mind. This is usually brought on by old age, however one may slip into early senile-hood as a result of traumatic and harsh beating. Usually from said elder's child.
1. We recently signed my grandmother up for assisted living, as she's already reached senilehood.

2. If I simply beat my mother into early senilehood, I can sent her to a nursing home much sooner.

Singlehood

Knighthood - the status of being a knight

Singlehood - the status of being single

Some can't wait to escape singlehood, some don't mind it or even revel in it. When you get a girl/boyfriend, this marks the end of singlehood for you. Likewise, when you break up with them, you re-enter into singlehood.
Guy 1: I finally got a girlfriend!!

Guy 2: So you can finally leave singlehood behind, then.

seniorhood

The state of living as an older person senior citizen in our society. The experiences and attitudes associated with those over the age of 65. Ageism means the greater the likelihood that others will discriminate against older people just because they are older.
Seniorhood does not necessarily equal senilehood. Seniorhood is traditionally more revered in Asian societies than in American culture. A perfect synonym for seniorhood is elderhood, which happens to be the title of a new book by Louise Aronson, M.D. in which she celebrates older people and claims they are on average happier than younger adults.
Seniorhood can be a difficult period of life because of negative biases toward those 65 and over.

Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.

I thought she'd need multiple trips to carry her phone, keys, wallet, and Starbucks to her car since she needed the other hand to open the door, but she used her impressive girl grip to carry everything in one hand.
