A gun or a weapon likely or projecting a target, and its missile or bullet is rock salt. It is used to kill paranormal objects that could appear around us like genie, ghost or even evil souls.

It's a new definition from Supernatural series. Those Winchests own the saltgun.

Saltgunner 

A nickname given to fans of the CW show Supernatural. It is a reference to the characters Sam and Dean using rock salt rounds in their shotguns to repel spirits.

My roommate and I never miss an episode of Supernatural on Thursdays... We're real saltgunners.
