How was your pledge process to become a member of the Pershing Rifles?

- Real P/R Chapter: Barely made it. Now I just have to go Greek.

- Tactical P/R Chapter: Pledging, what's that? I signed papers and am now a member of the "honor society".

Pershing Rifles

Then National Honor Society of Pershing Rifles. a nationally recognized fraternity, "these are brothers and sisters I'll NEVER forget as long as I live"

What could be the hardest thing or easiest thing you have ever done depending on where you are. If your part of a tactical unit then you know what im talking about (D-12), otherwise its much easier.
Hard: Company D-12 or Pershing Rifles marched the 26.2 miles of the Boston Marathon if full BDU's and boots, 45lb rucksacks and water on a hot day... Raising $2,000 for the Livestrong Cancer Foundation. that dedication to duty and country, with some bold and true heart.
easiset: carrying a flag or rifle one mile in a parade.
creapy: using paddles to hit eachother during pledge term.
sorry brothers and sisters but some things are true,
hows the cow?

Rail Rifles

A general term for a shoulder‑fired electromagnetic weapon that uses railgun technology, typically more powerful than a carbine but less than a heavy machine gun. Rail rifles are the standard infantry railgun in many speculative futures: semi‑automatic or select‑fire, with effective ranges of 400‑800 meters, capable of penetrating advanced body armor and light vehicles. They use capacitor magazines that provide 20‑50 shots before recharge, and they feature adjustable power settings. Rail rifles are often depicted as the successor to conventional assault rifles, offering greater lethality and accuracy.
Rail Rifles Example: "The colonists raised their rail rifles—sleek, matte‑grey weapons with capacitor packs where the magazine would be. They had never seen combat, but they trained every day."

Energy Rifles

A general category of long‑arm directed‑energy weapons, positioned between carbines and battle rifles. Energy rifles are versatile, offering decent range, manageable recoil (none), and enough power to punch through light cover. They are the standard arm of future infantry, often featuring under‑barrel grenade launchers (which are just larger capacitors). The main complaint is the battery: you can carry a hundred bullets, but only ten full‑power shots. Still, those ten shots are very convincing.
Energy Rifles Example: “He raised the energy rifle, the scope automatically ranging the target. A squeeze, a hum, and the enemy’s chest plate glowed cherry red. He dropped. The rifle’s power meter showed 80% remaining – plenty for the next nine.”
