to repeat a verbal passage, in writing or aloud, because someone told you to, without thinking about its purpose or possible reception, and therefore blindly following like a sheep.
Wrote a little rant about all the flipping heart-rending holier-than-thou repost challenge messages out there, questioning their true intent and value. Then decided I'd come off sounding churlish, so binned it - other than the last sentence. You know who you are; why rebleat like so many sheep?
