ravelry

Term derived from revelry and ravel.
A knitting or crocheting party or celebration. Often noisy merrymaking, and there may or may not be drinking involved.
Most things made during inebriated ravelry are often mistakes

(and therefore unravelled or frogged), but occasionally the odd gem is made.
