qqdt

qqdt is an acronym for “Quick Question, Different Topic” to be used when needing to ask a quick question on a different topic while in the middle of discussing another topic. A brief topic change not meant to take over or end the original conversation topic.

“Hey everybody, I know we’re talking about Francis, but qqdt. What are we eating for lunch today?”
