Pinned Out

Basically describes when someone is so high on opiates that it constricts your pupils to tiny pin-points.
The neighborhood junkie kept insisting she was sober but there's no denying she's still using, given that she's pinned out and can't keep her eyes open or stop itching. That junkie is as pinned out as a tweaker is spun.

Telltale sign of Opiate intoxication; Large doses of Heroin etc cause the users' pupils to shrink to tiny pinpoints - which to the practised eye , a drugs worker say , easily discredit a junkies' protestations of sobriety
Huh..? Reckons he's been clean for months ? Yeah right ...check 'em out! He's well pinned!

In the 60's, a girl would get pinned by a guy when he made her his girlfriend. Ya know, after many dates, and the guy was ready to call her his girlfriend, he would formalize it by putting a silvery pin on her. So getting "pinned" means u are now taken. Watch the Dick Van Dyke version of Bye Bye Birdie, especially the song "The Telephone Hour." They use the term pinned quite a lot.
Have you heard about Hugo and Kim?
Did they really get pinned?
Did she kiss him and cry?
Did he pin the pin on?
Or was he too shy?
Well, I heard they got pinned...
