I was listening to Sam Harris’s podcast when Anna-Liisa woke up this morning. This is what she said to me: “You know how the French have that great expression ‘tête à claques’ (or ‘face à claques’), which roughly translates to ‘punchable face’, a face that’s so annoying that you just wanna punch it? Well, Sam Harris has a punchable voice.”
